Become a Sponsor

Sponsorship helps us provide more new socks to people who need them. Sponsor funds are used for buying new socks in bulk, helping your donation go further than it would at retail prices.

They also help cover the boxes, printing, and transportation needed to keep drives and deliveries going.

Sponsors receive updates on what their support made possible. Businesses can also be recognized on our website and materials, or you can choose to give quietly, it’s up to you.

If you want to make a one-time gift or help provide warm socks during winter, we’ll make sure you can see the difference your support makes.

Host a Sock Drive

Many of our donated socks come from people who get their friends, coworkers, classmates, or community involved. You can host a drive if you can bring people together from schools, offices, churches, sports teams, or book clubs.

Contact us with your group’s name and a rough timeframe, and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours. We’ll provide the Socks Box signs, simple steps, and free pickup when your drive is finished.

Volunteer

You don’t need experience to volunteer with S.P.I.N. All you need is a couple of hours and a willingness to help. Our volunteers move socks from donation boxes to the people who need them.

Here are a few ways you can help:

Sorting and packing: Count, sort by size, and bundle socks for delivery. Great for individuals, families, and students completing service hours.
Delivery runs: Take packed socks to shelters and outreach partners in your area.
Drive support: Help a local school or business run a sock drive by dropping off boxes, collecting donations, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Events and outreach: Join us at community events and help more people learn about S.P.I.N. and our mission.

Most volunteer shifts take 2 to 3 hours, and there’s no minimum commitment. Come once or make it a monthly habit.

Partner With Us

If your organization serves people in need:
Shelters, outreach teams, schools, and community programs can request sock deliveries from S.P.I.N. at no cost.

Tell us who you serve, roughly how many people you support, and which sizes you need most. We’ll arrange a delivery and, when possible, set up a regular schedule so you always have socks ready when cold weather arrives.

If your business or group wants to give together,
We work with companies and organizations on recurring drives, matched donations, and volunteer days. Bring your people, and we’ll help you put a plan together.

Donation Questions

Do you accept used socks?

No, we accept new and unworn socks only. Socks are worn directly against the skin, so everyone we serve receives new pairs. You can donate gently used clothing to a local charity instead.

What kind of socks help most?

Warm adult crew socks are requested most often, but every size helps, including children’s socks. If you’re unsure, choose socks that are warm and comfortable.

Can kids get involved?

Absolutely. School sock drives are some of our most successful, and our sorting days are family-friendly.

Can I still help if I'm not local?

Yes, donations help us purchase socks wherever you live. If you’re not nearby, you can also sponsor a drive or tell others about S.P.I.N. online.
